The 2016-17 University of London Housing guide is here
We are so proud to have been asked to design the University of London Housing Guide for the eighth year in a row. And this year we also went a step further and arranged the printing and distribution of 28,000 copies of the guide across 20 colleges and instituions across London.
SJ Creative have had a very close working relationship with the University of London Housing Services since we started back in 2008, and the Housing Guide is one of our favourite projects to work on with the amazing staff there. Not only is it a vital tool for any new students who will be looking to move into London, it is also a valuable resource on new legislation and best practices for those who are looking to move from their current house or are having issues with their landlords and need advice on where to go.
If you can’t get hold of a copy, you will also be able to find it online on the University of London Housing Services website at housing.london.ac.uk
If you have a large project coming up and you need help with the design, print and distribution then please get in touch. You can call us on 01763 448993 or email us through our contact page.
Most small business owners or start-ups have thought it, and millions are doing it right now! Taking advantage of free websites and blogs to promote their services and build a career.
But you must always remember: Beware the small print!
Artist Dennis Cooper has learnt the hard way and his entire blog, from back in 2012, has been deleted by Google and he had NO BACKUPS of his work to fall back on!

So if you are currently using a free system, such as Bloger, Wix, Squarespace, Weebly, etc… have a think about if your content is backed up elsewhere. These websites won’t be backing themselves up for you, so you need to be covered.
If you are currently using one of these sites and want to move to your own hosting, it’s not as expensive as you might think. Give us a call on 01763 448993 or email us through the contact page. We would love to hear from you and talk to you about your next project.
The brand new identity and website for MRH Classic Cars is now LIVE and you can see the new website at mrhclassiccars.co.uk
It has been a pleasure working with Gary and Gilly on their new logo design and responsive website. MRH Classic Cars wanted a fresh new look to their company as they are focussing the business on classic car repairs, restoration, renovation and servicing.
If you have a similar project coming up where you want a new look, updated identity and fresh new website, then please get in touch by calling us on 01763 448993 or email us through our contact page.
And it’s our favourite type of season … the Beer Festival!
The festival that has us most excited this year is the brand new St Andrews Beer Festival, being run by St Andrews Church, in St Andrews Street in Hertford.
We are very proud to have been invited to design the Beer Festival logo and ongoing publicity for the event, so make sure you keep an eye out for it all. The event will be on 17th September and the beers and wines will be supplied by the Red Squirrel Brewery on Hemel Hempstead.
If you have an event coming up that you would like us to help create an identity for then please get in touch by calling us on 01763 448993 or email us through our contact page.
We get asked to do a lot of different types of work here at SJ Creative, but I must admit that while doing a student marketing report I never thought we would be drawing maps of cities in Kazakhstan!
